Steve Silverman began his career as a teacher in the NYC Public Schools. After receiving a Masters Degree in Education and a Professional Diploma in School Administration and Supervision, he “changed channels” and went on to hold a number of sales, marketing and management positions with major companies serving the education market, including Holt, Rinehart & Winston, Apple Computer, and Gateway. Most recently, he was Vice President for Business Development at Computer Logic Group, a Long Island based technology integration firm and was a consultant to the educational technology community.
After moving to Florida, Steve decided to combine his life experience, quest for lifelong learning, and desire to help others. He has undergone extensive, comprehensive training and graduated from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) where he earned dual certifications as an Energy Leadership Master Practitioner and Certified Empowerment Coach. He is also an affiliate member of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA).
Steve’s methodology is based on iPEC’s unique Core Energy CoachingTM process that helps people tap into their inner purpose and passion and connect that with outer goals and tasks to bring about extraordinary and sustainable results. It just makes good sense to have the assistance of someone who is non-judgmental, a good listener, and capable of thinking “outside the box” to help people identify and live their dreams while making their lives richer, healthier, more fulfilling, and joyful.
Utilizing his coaching skills and profound interest in the revolutionary “positive psychology” movement, Steve focuses on where clients are today and what they're willing to do to get to where they want to be tomorrow. He impacts peoples' visions and values while helping them reshape their way of thinking – their way of being. Simply, he helps people discover how to be happy!
