Sue Engelhart, of Sue Engelhart & Associates, is a public relations
consultant and business coach who helps individuals and companies define and
achieve their goals and business objectives through the use of coaching and
communication tools. Sue uses her in-depth understanding of the business
world to help clients identify workable strategies for success.
With more than two decades of experience leading corporate communications and
public relations for large corporations, she helps clients build on their own
inherent strengths to get noticed—positively--at work, in their industry or in
the community by helping them build their own personal brand.
Sue also delivers presentations and workshops on topics including personal
branding, crisis communications, creativity and self discovery.
In addition to her coaching practice, she has worked for the past six years as a
communication consultant and owns her own public relations business specializing
in organizational and marketing communications. Previously, she was head
of corporate communications for M.A. Hanna Company, a $2.3 billion international
polymers firm, now known as PolyOne, and she led corporate communications for
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company’s international units and North American Tire
operations, the company’s largest business unit.
Sue has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mass media communications from the
University of Akron in Akron, Ohio, and received her coaching training through
the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland’s International Coaching Program.
She also is a graduate of The Mahler Company’s 15-month advanced management
development program, the executive development program at the Kellogg Graduate
School of Management at Northwestern University, the Working with Others program
at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, N.C., and the MIT-Harvard
Pubic Disputes Program course in mutual gains negotiations.
