GSCA Coach Elena Pell developed a first-of-its-kind Leadership Coaching Program for neighborhood leaders and community organizers. Her contribution has been highlighted in a new 2008 report A Different Kind of Network published by Laura Crawford. The report details how the Louisville, Kentucky Making Connections Initiative funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation employed social network theory to spark a bold movement for community change. The report is available free of charge through the Diarist Project (www.diaristproject.org) website.

The National Native American AIDS Prevention Center (NNAAPC) hired Elena Pell to be the lead developer of an Executive Coaching Training Module for their Capacity Building Assistance Program for Native American, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian HIV/AIDS prevention leaders and organizations.

 

Barbara Somma, MBA inspired members of the American Business Women's Association, All Achievers group to Define Their Destiny at its August program meeting. Much of the post meeting conversation revolved around the idea of choice. It is so important for us to realize the tremendous power we carry in that "we get to choose," stated Ramona Palermo ABWA program director and owner of Sarasota- based Business Resource, Inc.  We can choose what we do, where we go, who we go with. Most importantly- we get to choose our attitude and we get to choose how we view the world. That is really powerful and can make a BIG difference in our ultimate destiny.

Deb Mazzaferro has been invited by the NEW Zealand Beachheads Programme to attend a workshop in CA to coach companies importing their NZ products into the USA Oct 4-5.

Mary Wolf has been selected from a nationwide search to be featured in the 1st Edition of Speaking of Success, a highly successful book series from Tennessee based Insight Publishing. The book features best-selling authors Stephen R. Covey (Seven Habits of Highly Effective People), Ken Blanchard (One Minute Manager) and Jack Canfield (Co – creator of Chicken Soup for the Soul).
